Favorites let you keep the codes you use most at your fingertips. When you search to add a problem, your favorites are listed first, so common problems are one click away.
This modernized Problem List displays favorites alphabetically by diagnosis description by default. This replaces the legacy order, which displayed favorites in the order they were added. The Manage Favorites screen detailed below gives the user controls to override the default display and order their favorites exactly as they want them.
How Favorites Appear
When you open the problem search, your favorite codes are shown before any other results and are marked with a star. As you type, favorites that match stay sorted to the top of the results. See Add a Problem for the full search steps.
Add a Favorite
- Start a problem search and find the code you want.
- Click the star icon next to that result.
- The star fills in to show the code is now a favorite.
Remove a Favorite (via Search Bar)
- Find the code in the search results (favorites appear at the top).
- Click the filled star icon to remove it from your favorites.
Manage Favorites (Add, Order, and Delete)
From the Problems screen, click the star icon next to Quick Add to open the Manage Favorites screen.
From Manage Favorites you can:
- Add a favorite. Search by code or description at the top of the screen. New favorites go to the bottom of the list.
- Reorder favorites. Use the drag handle (⋮⋮) to drag a favorite to a new position.
- Delete a favorite. Click the trash icon in the Actions column.
Click Save to keep your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
How ordering works
- Default: Favorites are listed alphabetically by diagnosis description.
- Custom order: Your list switches to a custom order the first time you drag a favorite out of alphabetical order. After that:
- Any favorites you add later go to the bottom of the list. Drag them into place yourself.
- Favorites you haven't moved keep their current alphabetical positions until you move them.
