New Features and Updates
General
- U12751 - Scanning Chrome conversion: Historically, scanning documents into OfficeEMR was only possible with Internet Explorer. With this release, users now also have the ability to scan documents in using Google Chrome (as well as some other new functionality.) In order to accomplish this, we have partnered with a third-party vendor which will require users to download and install new scanning software onto their local machine. - U12880 - 2022 CQMsolutions update: For clients who use our CQMsolutions electronic clinical quality measures reporting tool, the application's measures have been updated to the 2022 specifications. You can read more about our supported eCQM measures here. Note: For more information on how to utilize this quality reporting tool, please contact our support staff.
- U12764 - Export to Excel Chrome conversion: The process of updating all 'Export to Excel' screens (e.g. Billing, EMR, etc) to be compatible with Chrome has started with this release. This update will continue over the next several releases.
- U10663 - Additional Chrome compatibility conversion: Since Microsoft® has begun the process of phasing out Internet Explorer, we have started converting the remaining areas of our software (that were previously only compatible with IE) to be fully compatible with Chrome.
Please note, we will be performing this conversion on the remaining 'IE-only' compatible sections of the software with subsequent releases. With this release, the newly converted areas that are now Chrome compatible are:
- Setup > Billing Setup > Diagnosis Codes
- Setup > Billing Setup > Procedures Codes

- U12912 Updated/Reorganized Diagnosis and Procedure Codes Advanced Searches: In the Billing screen, the Diagnosis and Procedure Codes searches have now been split out into their own separate search screens:

- U13070 - New 'Aged Receivables' Connect report: A new Connect report called Aged Receivables was created as a custom report, but can be used by any client if it meets their needs. This report provides detail on the outstanding claims in the system, with information from the last note on the claim - including the entry date, follow-up date, entering user, and note text. - U11127 - Updated 'Financial Snapshot' Connect report: Made the following changes to the Financial Snapshot Connect report:
- Added Alternate Provider as a grouping option.
- Modified End Date to be inclusive.
- Added DOS (Date of Service) as an available display field.
- Standardized the source of financial calculations to ensure longevity.
