About this Error
This error will sometimes appear when the Iguana INTERFACE Engine is unable to start successfully. This usually happens when some of the startup files have been corrupted.
How to Fix this Error
- Stop the Iguana Service: Starting and Stopping the Iguana Service
- Navigate to Task Manager > Processes. Locate 'Iguana' and click 'End Task'.
- Navigate to the directory where Iguana is installed (usually C:\Program Files\iNTERFACEWARE\Iguana)
- Open the 'Logs' directory and delete the files here (not the folders)
- Open the 'Meta' directory within 'Logs' and delete the files here
- Open the 'Index' directory within 'Logs' and delete the files here
- Restart the Iguana Service: Starting and Stopping the Iguana Service
- Launch Iguana and verify the error is no longer appearing on startup.
