Question: Why are my vaccines not decrementing from CHIRP?
Solution:
One or more of the following items might not be setup correctly, keeping your immunizations from properly decrementing from your CHIRP inventory:
- You are not setup in the application with a CHIRP Immunization Registry Interface.
- The patient's VFC Eligibility and Funding Source are not properly selected. Usually the funding source needs to be set to Federal Funds (inactive). Please reference the Indiana Department of Health's Eligibility for Publicly-Funded Vaccines Reference Guide and our VFC Eligibility and Funding Source code list for more guidance on proper selection of these fields.
- The Company Setting: HL7 Immunization Export 2.5.1 Only include primary OBX line is set to True/Selected. This setting needs to be de-selected/false.
