Text to Pay Setup

Below you will find an explanation of the roles and settings necessary for the enabling and utilization of the text to pay feature.

The PaySimple integration is required to utilize the text to pay feature.

As a practice, you will be responsible for updating these settings to meet your business rules.

Roles

  • Practice - General -> Payments
    • PaySimple Text to Pay: This role allows the user to send a text to pay link.
  • Practice - General -> Setup
    • PaySimple Text to Pay Setup: This role allows the user to complete the info that will be sent on the text to pay link.

Company Settings / Text to Pay Setup

  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Name
    • Description: Sets the company name visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Phone Number
    • Description: Sets the company phone number visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Email Address 
    • Description: Sets the company email address visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Website 
    • Description: Sets the company website visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Address - Line 1
    • Description: Sets the company address line 1 visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Address - Line 2
    • Description: Sets the company address line 2 visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Address - State
    • Description: Sets the company state visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.
  • PaySimple Text To Pay - Company Address - Zip Code
    • Description: Sets the company zip code visible in a Text To Pay payment link.
    • Default Value: Blank.


The receipt emailed to the patient upon making a payment will have the practice name based on the merchant setup with PaySimple. If you would like to change this you will need to login to the PaySimple portal and update the Business Name in your business settings. You can also choose to update the Subject/Signature name in the Order receipt -> Subject/Receipt setting.
