The Iguana Hl7 Interface Engine is a third-party tool that is installed on a computer/server at the office. This tool allows our application to interface with on-site devices that can send or receive HL7 files. This tool runs as a service on the PC and can place files into a folder, pick files up from a folder, send files over TCP/IP, and receive files via TCP/IP. The data is sent to/from the application via web-services.
