Setup Default Ordered By Setting

Each user has a Default Ordered By setting. This sets the field in the Order Entry chart Tab while Placing an Order. More information on Setting the Ordered By may assist you in adjusting this for your user. Follow these steps to set your default Ordered By setting for new users:

Steps to Complete

  1. Click on the EMR Search button in the upper right-hand corner of the EMR



  2. Type "Order by" in the search field



  3. Select the User Settings Tab



  4. Click on the first User Setting: Default Order By



  5. Select the appropriate user



  6. Press the OK button



  7. Across the top of the application, click where it says EMR and select Reset Current Window. This will re-load the EMR and apply the new setting.
