After Drilling Into the Aging Analysis Report, you will see the Aging Analysis Detail Report with the appropriate detail based on your selection, as seen here.
At this point, billers have many options for links on each line:
- Last Note Date: In this field, users will see either the date of the last note or, if none, the word 'Add.' This opens the Comments box for the claim in question.
- Claim ID: Clicking on this field will take the user to the Claim Entry screen.
- Account: Clicking on this field will take the user to the Patient Setup screen.
- Balance: Clicking on this field will take the user to the Transaction History for this claim.
When finished working the claim, users can close any opened windows, use the Comments box to add notes, and continue to the next claim to be worked. If they would like to see any entered notes appear on the list, or have worked claims with future follow-up dates drop off the list, they can hit the refresh button at the top left of the detail:
The Aging Analysis Detail Report contains the following information:
- Claim Status: The Claim ID of the claim shown.
- Last Note Date: The create date of the most recent note on the claim.
- Follow-up Date: The follow-up date (if any) entered on the most recent note on the claim. When clicked, will open the Comments box as a pop-out for the claim in question.
- Claim Level: The current level of the claim.
- Claim ID: The ID of the claim. When clicked, will open the Claim Entry screen as a pop-out for the claim in question.
- DOS: The date of service of the claim.
- Account: The patient's account number. When clicked, will open Patient Setup as a pop-out for the patient on the claim.
- Patient: The full name of the claim's patient, in "[Last Name], [First Name] [Middle Name]" format.
- Primary Payer: The primary payer assigned to the claim.
- Secondary Payer: The secondary payer assigned to the claim.
- Charges: The total charges on the claim.
- Balance: The total remaining balance on the claim. When clicked, will open the Transaction History as a pop-out for the claim in question.
