Our application is directly integrated with the TOLMARsync patient and inventory management system. TOLMARsync is built specifically to manage the inventory, ordering, and dispensing of the Eligard medication. This integration allows for the entire process of initializing a medication order and dispensing the Eligard medication to occur within our application. The data is seamlessly shared back with the TOLMARsync system to keep records up to date. Once a successful dispense is completed, the dispense details will be added to the SOAP Note and the appropriate CPT code will be recommended on the Superbill.
This integration will:
- Allow practices to place a medication order for Eligard and have that order sent directly to TOLMARsync.
- Allow a user to use the handheld scanner to scan kit details.
- Allow a user to complete a dispense of Eligard.
- Following a successful dispense:
- The Eligard dispense details will be stored as a result with the order.
- The dispense details can be sent to the SOAP Note.
- The appropriate CPT code can be sent to the Superbill.
Sign-Up
The first step is to request the TOLMARsync integration for your practice. Simply log a ticket with our support team: How to Submit a Support Ticket
Our team will contact TolmarSync on your behalf to begin coordinating the necessary interface components and testing.
Add TOLMARsync to your System
Once our team and TOLMARsync have coordinated to setup the interface, the following changes will need to be made to your system:
Service Locations
The TOLMARsync Service Location will need to be added to your system. This will allow medication orders to be sent to this location. This will be completed as part of the initial setup by the iSalus Healthcare team.
Template Setup > Order Entry
The appropriate medication orders will be added to your Order Entry template. This will be completed as part of the initial setup by the iSalus Healthcare team.
Once the TOLMARsync Integration has been configured for your practice, you will be able to start placing medication orders for Eligard and dispensing through our application.

Dispense a medication order for Eligard
Once the medication order has been placed and the patient is ready to receive the injection, follow the steps below to dispense the order.
Workflow Note:
Different practices may have unique workflows related to managing orders. This guide discusses the most common workflow. However, the dispense of Eligard can occur as long as a user can access the Order Processing window.
- Open My Tasks Orders
- Locate the Eligard medication order that you would like to dispense and select it from the list.
- Click the Dispense icon from the toolbar. At this time, the medication order is being electronically transmitted to TOLMARsync and various checks are being performed to verify if the order can be dispensed at this time. If it cannot, an appropriate error message will be returned.
- Use the TOLMARsync barcode scanner to scan the Eligard Kit Details. These details should populate the screen. Otherwise, enter the details manually. Also, select the correct Injection Date, Nurse, and Injection Site if they are different than what is listed.
- Click Dispense to complete the process.

Dispense Results
Once an order is successfully dispensed, the kit details will be stored as a result in the patient's chart connected to this original order.
Results Flow to Note
Your practice may be set up in such a way that results from that date will flow into the SOAP Note. If that is the case, the results from the Eligard injection will show up in the note.
Procedure Code Recommended on Superbill
The act of dispensing Eligard is a billable procedure. Therefore, when the dispense is completed, the appropriate procedure codes will be recommended on the Superbill for that day.
