The Referring/PCP Patients Report assists practices in finding distinct patient counts for providers who are a patient's PCP or Referring Provider. It gives the total distinct patients seen in the last two years, one year, and six months.
For all patients seen in the past two years, this report finds all providers who have been listed in patient demographics as their Referring Provider or PCP. Patients are considered 'seen' if they have an appointment in the time period that is in the "Checked-in" or "Checked-out" status.
The report lists each of these providers, and shows how many related distinct patients were seen in the last two years, one year, and six months. Please note that these time periods are inclusive, so the 2y/1y patient counts will always be higher than the 6m patient count, as they include the smaller time period.
The patient counts are distinct -- so if a patient has multiple attended appointments over the listed time period, or if the provider is listed as both their referring and PCP, the patient will still only be counted once.
