Office Schedule on OfficeEMR Mobile

The Office Schedule on OfficeEMR Mobile allows a user to quickly see all scheduled appointments for a resource.  Within the Office Schedule, you can also add new appointments, cancel appointments, create a charge, and more.

The Office Schedule in the OfficeEMR Mobile application will allow a user to quickly view all appointments for a specific resource.

Steps to view the Office Schedule

1. Tap the Schedule icon on the home screen.  
   
   
2. The Schedule (Office Schedule) option should be selected by default.  Based on your user's default resource, you will see a list of appointments scheduled with that resource on the selected date.
   

Steps to Change the Resource

1. To change the resource you are looking at, tap the ... icon in the upper right.
   
   
2. Click the Change Resource option.
   
   
3. Select the resource from the list that you would like to view.  Appointments for that resource will now be displayed.

Steps to Change the Date

1. To change the date you are looking at, tap the word Today along the top of the screen. Or, use the arrows to navigate forward or backward one day at a time.
   
   
2. Select the date from the calendar to view the appointments for that day.

Appointment List Details

For each appointment displayed in the list, the following details will be shown:

• Patient Last Name,  Patient First Name, Patient Middle Initial (Age Gender)
• Appointment Type
• Appointment Location
• Appointment Start Time (Appointment Duration)
• Appointment Status
• Chief Complaint Icon - tapping this will display the full chief complaint.
• A Completed indicator will display in green if an appointment has a charge (superbill) linked to it.

The Office Schedule in the OfficeEMR Mobile application will allow a user to add a new appointment to the office schedule.

Steps 

1. Tap the Schedule icon on the home screen.  
   
2. The Schedule (Office Schedule) option should be selected by default.  Based on your user's default resource, you will see a list of appointments scheduled with that resource on the selected date.
   
3. Tap the ... icon in the upper right.
   
   
4. Select Add Appointment.
   
   
   
5. Enter the Appointment Details.
   
   
6. Click Done.
   

Appointment Details

• Scheule With:  The resource that the appointment should be scheduled with.
• Patient: The patient assigned to the appointment.
• Starts/End: Start and End time for the appointment.
• Appointment Type:  The type of appointment being scheduled.
• Location: The service location where the patient is scheduled. 
• Chief Complaint:  The primary reason for the visit. This is often added to the SOAP Note automatically.
• Comments:  Internal comments related to this appointment.
• Referring: The referring provider for the appointment.
• Prior Auth: The prior authorization number for the appointment.

The Office Schedule in the OfficeEMR Mobile application will allow a user to cancel an appointment that is scheduled on the Office Schedule.

Steps 

1. Tap the Schedule icon on the home screen.  
   
2. The Schedule (Office Schedule) option should be selected by default.  Based on your user's default resource, you will see a list of appointments scheduled with that resource on the selected date.
   
3. Tap the ... icon on the appointment line.
   
4. Select Cancel Appointment.
   
   
5. Tap Yes to confirm. The appointment will be removed from the schedule.
   

The Office Schedule in the OfficeEMR Mobile application will allow a user to add a charge for an appointment.

Steps 

1. Tap the Schedule icon on the home screen.  
   
   
2. The Schedule (Office Schedule) option should be selected by default.  Based on your user's default resource, you will see a list of appointments scheduled with that resource on the selected date.
   
   
3. Tap the ... icon on the appointment line.
   
   
4. Select View Charges.
   
   
5. You will be taken to the Charges screen for that patient where you can add a charge or copy an existing charge.  Doing so will link this charge to the appointment you had selected.
   
   
6. This will then add a Completed indicator to the Appointment List Details.
