Obtaining Access to JSON Webservices

This article will describe the necessary steps and prerequisites to obtain access to the JSON endpoints offered to our interface partners. The credentials described in the document will not be provided until a contract has been signed and the invoice returned.

Prerequisites

  1. A kick-off call has been completed with the vendor and an associated agreement has been signed for the interface.
  2. iSalus technical contact to create a test database and user.
  3. iSalus technical contact will provide the following credentials:
    • Basic Authentication User
    • Basic Authentication Password
    • X-Choice-Account
These credentials can only be used to test methods that iSalus has granted to the database.
  1. A quick training with the Vendor will be completed to review the areas being tested. 

Steps to Access

  1. Vendor to access the JSON Webservice Tester
  2. Select Authorize from the top-right and enter the User Name & Password


  3. Select Authorize and select the method you wish to test.
  4. Within the method, you will find an input field for the X-Choice-Account. Enter the identifier you received from your contact.
  5. Using the Schemas located at the bottom of the page, you will be able to test various inputs. If unclear on what values to use or where they are found, please reach out to your iSalus contact.
